Islamic Relief believes access to healthcare is a universal right, not a privilege available only to those with the means to pay.
Sadly, healthcare is all too often out of reach for people living in poverty – and, with poverty and poor health being inextricably linked, those who need healthcare the most are also least likely to be receiving it.
Islamic Relief works hard to address this injustice. We are improving access to healthcare in poor communities, and supporting lifesaving medical care for those affected by humanitarian crises.
This World Health Day, here is a snapshot of some of our lifesaving and life-changing health projects.
