- Held in Baq’a Camp, Amman, on 16 November, the inclusive event was designed to underline that dignity is a universal right for all.
- Organised by our orphan and child welfare programme, the event brought mothers and their children together with our staff and partners.
- The children showed off their talents by reciting the Qur’an, reading poetry, and singing. They also enjoyed games and had fun with a photo booth.
- The youngsters were happy to be entertained by cartoon characters, and the mothers and children enjoyed a special lunch together.
- Each child received a special gift to mark the occasion, with the children provided with roses to give to their mothers.
- A puppet show included messages on the rights of children – which are core to our child protection campaign, through which we raise awareness of child rights.
