TIC International Ltd is a trading subsidiary company of Islamic Relief Worldwide. The main purpose of which is to generate income from the sale of recycled textiles donated by the public and businesses in the UK and our partners in Europe.

TIC is actively recruiting for a part-time HR Officer for their office based in Birmingham, UK. The advertised salary is on a prorata basis.

 

The HR Officer will provide a high-quality HR service to all staff and support line managers in their people management responsibilities.  The HR Officer will provide basic advice to managers and staff in the application of HR policies, reflecting good practices. Other duties will include; being the first point of contact for all HR-related issues, processing payroll and pensions, ensuring all HR databases and filings are up-to-date and accurate, regular reviews of all HR-related materials, see through the recruitment life cycle, managing time and attendance, formation and review of policies, ensure legal compliance with UK employment law and GDPR.

 

The HR Officer is responsible for the coordination of work that ensures the smooth daily operation of the HR function.

 

The successful candidate must have or be:

  • Working towards CPP/CIPD qualifications or equivalent or part qualified
  • HR Generalist Experience
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Proficient in processing payroll/pensions using SAGE 50 payroll
  • Good levels of computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications and HR software’s
  • Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing such agreements and procedures
  • Ability to use an HR information system including, accessing, inputting, and compiling data
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
